The work of a mechatronics technician involves the assembly and maintenance of complex machinery, plants and systems. You’ll build advanced mechatronic systems from mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, manufacture the individual components, assemble them into finished systems and operationalize them.

Absolute precision is the most important quality of a tool mechanic. Understanding and implementing technical drawings is just as much a part of your job as processing workpieces. RIBE tool mechanics perform drilling, sawing, grinding, turning and milling operations, sometimes using computer-operated machines, and they also handle manual filing or sawing tasks.

Industrial mechanics are responsible for keeping the machinery and production systems at RIBE operational at all times! You assemble and set up the systems, and use test procedures to check that everything is working properly. In addition to that, you will be entrusted with the production of machines and individual parts using skills such as forming, milling, grinding, turning or filing.
