RIBE Fastening Systems

Your development and application engineering partner

More than just an expert fastening element and system manufacturer

RIBE is much more than just a highly qualified fastening element and system manufacturer. In the areas of product development and application engineering, we focus on achieving the optimum solutions for our customers. For example, we develop alternative materials for our cold forming process as well as calculate and design self-tapping and metric screws for specific applications. We also select or develop the optimum surfaces, define the appropriate assembly parameters and carry out application-specific tests on your components. Our decades of expertise together with our state-of-the-art laboratory equipment form the basis for the development of reliable and safe fastening elements.

Validated fastening solutions

The optimum fastening element and an assembly concept that is perfectly tailored to the application are essential to achieving secure screw connections. For this reason, we not only design the fastener, but also parameterize the assembly strategy. We ensure connection functionality by specifying joining torque, angle of rotation, monitoring parameters, clamping force after assembly and under temperature load, as well as guaranteed tightness and electrical conductivity.

Modern requirements – new materials

Modern technological requirements of factors such as tightness, electrical conductivity, extreme strength at high temperatures in both hot and extremely cold operating conditions often demand a detailed knowledge of the properties of established and newly industrialized material systems. We meet these challenges with our highly qualified team and our fully equipped laboratory. With them, we can continue to offer the very best solutions for future challenges.

Pushing the limits for maximum safety

When investigating the performance of screw systems, it is always important examine that system’s behavior when it is pushed to its limits. We do this with static and dynamic overload testing on laboratory test benches, as well as with field tests. The post-testing analysis of failed parts is also an essential part of our application-specific assessments. They provide us with informative insights into field failures, risks in the failure limit range and for future material and design developments.
